# How to check if ChatGPT recommends your restaurant

You can check in ten minutes. The trick is to ask the questions your diners actually ask, not your restaurant's name.

## 1. Write the questions

Think like a diner who doesn't know you yet:

- "Best [cuisine] in [area]?"
- "Where to eat in [area] for [occasion]?"
- "Good restaurant near [landmark or station]?"
- "[Dish] in [town]?" if you're known for one.

Aim for five to ten.

## 2. Ask each assistant

Use ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Start a fresh chat for each question, and don't mention your restaurant.

## 3. Record

For every answer, note whether you were named, in which position, who else was named, and which sites were cited.

## 4. Repeat

AI answers vary from day to day. Run the same questions weekly. The trend matters more than any single answer.
