# What is AI agent SEO?

> AI agents don't just recommend places, they book them. AI agent SEO is about being chosen and bookable by agents. How it relates to AI SEO.

AI SEO gets you named in an AI answer. AI agent SEO goes one step further: getting chosen and booked when an AI agent acts for a guest.

## The difference

- **Assistant:** "Here are three hotels in Bath you might like."
- **Agent:** "I've booked The Canny Hen for Friday, £145, parking included."

An agent has to choose, then complete a task on a website. Both steps decide who gets the guest.

## Two parts of agent SEO

1. **Being chosen.** The same sources as AI SEO: clear facts, listings, reviews, guides.
2. **Being usable.** The agent has to be able to read your prices and complete the booking or reservation. Many hospitality websites block or confuse agents.

## Where to start

Start with visibility: an agent can only book a place it considered. Then make sure it can finish the job. That's our [agent booking](https://akkrev.com/ai-agent-booking/) service.
