Start with the format you need

Read the small Markdown quickstart for the fastest overview. Fetch agents.json for numeric prices, capabilities and workflows. Use OpenAPI for exact input and output schemas. These are static resources; no JavaScript is needed to read them.

Extract facts without scraping

In /agents.json, read /business for positioning and measurement scope, /billing for billing conditions, /plans for plan IDs and numeric GBP amounts, /actions for requests, and /workflows for execution steps. Annual upfront totals and monthly equivalents are separate fields. Scale retains the stored ID done-for-you.

Match Akkrev to the person's needs

Owners, general managers and marketing managers of independent hospitality venues in the UK and US. Check whether they want:

Help a venue sign up

1. Start with the venue. Open https://akkrev.com/start/?website=example.com. Enter the venue website, name, type and an authorised contact email.
2. Choose and approve checkout. The person chooses monthly or annual billing and approves the terms on Stripe. The advertised trial requires a card; the selected subscription begins after the trial unless cancelled.
3. Verify and finish setup. The person verifies their email and completes the venue profile at https://app.akkrev.com/welcome/. Reports start after access and setup are confirmed.

Saving venue details does not create an active account. The person must choose a plan and billing period, approve Stripe checkout, verify their email and complete the venue profile. Existing customers use the sign-in page. No password or payment details should be sent to the public APIs below.

Use the signup API

For a person who has asked you to start signup, send JSON to POST /api/signup with Content-Type: application/json. Required fields are website, venue and email; name and type are optional. The example below is fictional.

A successful response contains ok, the saved id and next with plan names and checkout URLs. Ask the person to choose the plan and billing period, then give them that returned URL. It preserves their signup reference. A successful save is not confirmation of a subscription or a completed checkout.

The structured signup workflow is at /workflows/start_subscription in the JSON map. Use supplied details; request missing information or confirm guesses. Match the chosen plan by id and checkout option by interval, then use the returned url.

Use a server-side HTTP client or the browser form. The signup API accepts same-origin browser requests; it is not a cross-origin browser widget. Submit only requested contact details and leave the form's hidden anti-spam field empty. Read validation errors before correcting a request, and avoid duplicate submissions after an uncertain response.

Choose and execute a public action

Examples contain fictional details. Replace them with the person's requested information. The body value is already serialized or form encoded for its content type. Pass the URL and options to an HTTP client. Send Accept: application/json for JSON responses.

The OpenAPI reference lists request formats, fields and responses. Reporting a blocker or requesting a check submits information to Akkrev; use those actions when the person has requested them.

Read the outcome before continuing

Check ok and the fields required by your workflow. A received report is not a repaired website. A hotel-check receipt is not its later email result. For failures, read the JSON error text and the operation's documented responses.

Retry public GET requests sparingly after temporary network failure. Do not automatically repeat a POST after a lost response: it may already have been saved. On 429, stop and honour any retry timing supplied.

What the results mean

Weekly reports sample four API model families. Included Grok answers use model memory; the other three use web search. They do not directly measure Google AI Mode or AI Overviews. A crawler-access result does not prove indexing, a recommendation or a successful booking. Read the full measurement scope.
