Hotel restaurants and bars in AI search
Updated By Akkrev
A hotel restaurant can win local diners through AI, but only if AI knows it's open to non-residents. Why many get missed.
Plenty of hotel restaurants are among the best in town, yet AI rarely names them for “where to eat” questions.
Why they get missed
- No separate Google profile, so they’re seen as part of the hotel.
- The menu sits on the hotel site under “dining”, with no clear opening hours.
- It’s not clear the restaurant is open to non-residents.
What helps
- A separate Business Profile with the restaurant category.
- A page with its own name, hours, menu in text and booking link.
- Saying plainly that non-residents are welcome.
- Local press coverage of the restaurant itself, not just the hotel.
