How to check if ChatGPT recommends your hotel

Ask the questions your guests ask, record who AI names and which sites it cites, and repeat weekly. Here's a simple method any hotel can use.
Don’t search for your hotel’s name: AI will usually find you. Search the way a guest who doesn’t know you would.
Questions to ask
- “Where should we stay in [town] for [occasion]?”
- “Boutique hotel in [area] with [feature]?”
- “Hotel near [venue, station or landmark]?”
- “Dog-friendly hotel in [region]?”
What to record
- Named or not, and position.
- Competitors named instead.
- Whether the link goes to your site or an OTA.
- Facts AI gets wrong: price, parking, pets.
Repeat it
Answers change. Run the same questions every week for a month before drawing conclusions.
