Can AI agents book hotels that use Cloudbeds?
Updated By Akkrev
Cloudbeds serves 20,000+ properties and plans a Meta Muse integration for US hotels in early 2027. Not yet tested in the Agent Booking Index.
Cloudbeds is a hospitality platform combining a cloud property management system, a commission-free booking engine and a channel manager, plus payments, revenue tools and a marketplace of more than 450 integration partners. Cloudbeds says it serves more than 20,000 properties in over 150 countries, including independent hotels, hostels, B&Bs, inns, vacation rentals and small groups.
Cloudbeds and AI agents
Cloudbeds is one of the first booking platforms with an announced agent integration. In October 2026 it said Meta’s Muse will be able to show participating Cloudbeds hotels’ live rates, availability and policies, with guests completing reservations through the hotel’s own Cloudbeds booking engine and the bookings arriving as direct bookings. US rollout is planned for early 2027. See what the Cloudbeds and Muse deal means.
That covers one agent. Others, such as ChatGPT agent, Gemini in Chrome and Claude, will still reach Cloudbeds hotels by operating their websites.
Status in the Agent Booking Index
Not yet tested. No Cloudbeds hotels were in the 20 October pilot, which focused on UK independents. Cloudbeds is a priority for the next round, including US properties.
What to check if your property uses Cloudbeds
- Is your booking engine linked from your homepage, or embedded as a widget?
- If you search two nights, do the dates appear in the web address?
- Are taxes and mandatory fees shown before the guest’s details are entered?
- Once the Muse integration rolls out, will your property take part?
What this means for AI recommendations
Cloudbeds’ connections to AI platforms help with booking. Being chosen still depends on reviews, listings and clear facts on your own site.
