ThinkReservations is an all-in-one hospitality management platform for independent lodging: a property management system, a commission-free booking engine with yield management, a channel manager, guest messaging, payments, websites, marketing and bookkeeping services. Its customers include B&Bs, inns, boutique hotels, hotel groups and vacation rentals.
Notably, ThinkReservations publishes its own llms.txt file describing its products for AI systems, a sign the company is paying attention to how AI reads it.
Why it matters
US inns and B&Bs often sell packages (romance, foliage, dinner and room) and use minimum stays and deposits heavily. Those are the details agents most often need to read correctly to book the right thing. A booking engine with yield management can also change prices often, which makes showing a firm total quickly more important for agents comparing options.
Status in the Agent Booking Index
Not yet tested. The 20 October pilot covered UK hotels only. ThinkReservations is on the list for the first US round.
What to check if your inn uses ThinkReservations
- Are packages bookable as rates with a clear total and inclusions?
- Do minimum stays show a message when a single night is chosen?
- Are deposits and cancellation terms visible before payment?
- Can an AI agent reach a price for a specific weekend on your own site?
What this means for AI recommendations
Inns on ThinkReservations compete for occasion and location prompts. Clear, specific descriptions are what AI repeats.
