Can AI agents book small hotels that use Little Hotelier?
Updated By Akkrev
Little Hotelier is SiteMinder's all-in-one system for B&Bs, guesthouses and small hotels. Not yet tested in the Agent Booking Index; here's what to check.
Little Hotelier is all-in-one software for small accommodation businesses, powered by SiteMinder. It bundles a booking engine for the property’s own website, a channel manager connected to hundreds of booking channels, and a front desk property management system with a reservation calendar. Little Hotelier says it serves more than 53,000 properties worldwide.
Its customers are exactly the places guests ask AI for when they want something small and personal: B&Bs, guesthouses, inns, pubs with rooms and small hotels.
Status in the Agent Booking Index
Not yet tested. Little Hotelier wasn’t in the 20 October pilot. Its parent company’s main booking engine, SiteMinder, passed with both hotels tested, but Little Hotelier is a separate product and may behave differently.
Why small-property engines matter
Small properties often have the fewest staff to notice when something isn’t working. If an agent can’t get through a B&B’s booking page, the owner usually never finds out; the booking simply arrives through an OTA, or not at all. Settings that small properties commonly use, such as minimum stays at weekends, deposits, or rooms that are only bookable by phone, may also affect agents regardless of the engine.
What to check if your property uses Little Hotelier
- Is your booking page linked from your homepage as a plain link?
- If you search two nights, do the dates appear in the web address?
- Do minimum stays show a message, or just grey out dates?
- Does an AI agent asked to book two named nights reach a price?
Our free agent check runs that last test for you.
